Here is the cards we will be making!

Just not enough time.

Life sure has been busy lately.  No time to do what I am suppose to do, let alone the things I want to do.  Three of my grandchildren play baseball/softball.  It seems this week with tournaments that is all we have been doing.  Today has been busy,  after Church and breakfast, we went to a baseball tournament of one of my grandsons)Kaleb).  They played Thurs and won, so played Sat.  They won, so they played today. They play Mon evening at 8pm. they could have 2 more games if they continue to win.  Last evening our Samantha played at  Ontario field, they lost. One less tournament to worry about.  I dont know yet if Billys team will be in tournaments, I do know they still have make up games as well as Samantha.  we also had a Birthday party to attend for Billy today,  We did have a meeting later at church, but that got postponed.  Instead we need to go to a viewing of a friend from church who passed away.  We might visit with my sister after that.  You say, "What has this got to do with me?"  Well if you havent figured it out so far, it means I am still working on my class cards.  I had hope to do the Shetch Challange too.  I hope you are participating.
   I was invited to Stamp in up Hostess appreciation brunch yesteday morning.  Had a good time, won a nice set of stamps as a door prise.  Also I will bring a neat idea that we made (if I dont forget).  It is a plant/yard  stake.  We used the Big Shot,  a few cutting dies .   Well until the next time or till I see you Wed.  Take care and God Bless you,  Laura

June 29th Card Workshop Sketch Challenge

If you are interested and if you are coming to my June 29th workshop,  you may want to participate in this sketch challenge.  If you do participate, there will be a drawing for the afternoon and evening classes.  You can win a prize from me!  Also if you enter the website challenge I sent you an email about you can win a set of Gina K stamps too, if they pick your name.  See their rules to enter.
I had to look at this sample a few time to see how if fit the sketch.  They rotated the sketch 45 degrees different but kind of the same.

I am finally getting to post my last card, Sorry about that. For all who where able to come, Thank you!  I believe we all had fun.  We missed you if you could'nt come, I hope you know that.  I had 6 attending the afternoon class and 4 at the evening class.  Summers are always busy, so I still believe we had a good turn out.  I am hoping to start on my next cards early, but it is going to be a busy weekend,  besides Father's Day, It is Tom's 71st Birthday.  We will be in Columbus, Monday to babysit my grandaughter Jillian, always a lot of fun.  Till my next post Take care and God Bless you all!   Laura

I was ready Yesterday!

Hi,  Did I have you worried?  I didnt get to post my last card because my husband needed the computer. Maybe that is good, sometimes I think that if I didnt post them on, you might think "Oh I dont  send patriotaic cards" or I have enough  birthday cards or get well cards"  Remember you  can put in your own verses or change them to your liking.  I do miss seeing you!   I am sure most of you do have good reasons for not being there.  Well If I dont quit this post, I will be late for class.  Take care and God Bless all of you! I just might be ready for our workshop by tomorrow.  Time will tell.   The Owl card has very small pieces.  A pair of tweezers and some glue for small areas, probably will helpful to bring.

Hi, are you getting worried,  I am.  Here it is Sunday afternoon and this is the only card I have made for our class.  I was telling someone I seem to work better under pressure.  This is going to be a test.  I bought this set of stamps from Peggy and it made a great scene all together. The background colors were just sponged in using Tim Holtz Distressed Inks.
